The Hand of God Polo is built around the idea of God continually reaching toward humanity, even when that reach is not always returned.
Across the back is an embroidered interpretation inspired by Michelangelo’s The Creation of Adam. The two hands sit apart, capturing the space between God and man. For us, that space represents a simple message: God reaches out to man, even when man does not reach back.
The piece is also rooted in Matthew 7:7–8:
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”
Finished in bold red and navy rugby stripes with contrasting white details, the polo combines vintage sportswear influences with ELECT’s faith-centred identity. Embroidered branding on the chest and the statement artwork across the back make the message part of the garment rather than simply an addition to it.
